West Sands November

What a gorgeous day. After a week of grey skies, there was actually some blue and the shiney big yellow thing made an appearance too!

Wandered into St Andrews to pick up some bits and pieces. The place was unnaturally quiet. Very strange. Its usually awash with students/tourists/OAPs. Still it made it nice and easy for us to get round and the overpriced, tardis like, DIY shop did not let us down - cement, weedkiller and driveway oil remover all purchased. Also started to stock up on Christmas cava.....pays to be prepared, don't you think?

Then we headed off to the West sands for a bimble with the dogs. It was so warm, 14 degrees and no wind. There were people carrying their jackets! Also some hardy souls practising surfing. I am guessing the water would not be that hot!

Home and time to chill :) Perfect. Might even sneak in a wee Saturday night Cava with Strictly
