Holy Spinach Popeye!

Found this MASSIVE bag of spinach at the grocery store today - and it was too good to pass up ($3 for 2.5lbs), so I decided to buy it. Now what to do with all of this brain food?

C made a summer squash and yukon gold potato soup, and I thought I'd accompany it with a farro, apple, carrot, red cabbage and spinach salad. It was tasty, but didn't turn out as fabulous as I had envisioned it to be. We also taught C how to play Heidi's game and we played that during dinner.

Afterwards I went to bed while J&C went to the midnight premiere of Twilight - that was C's main reason for coming out.....she and J-bang are the 2 biggest twilight fans I've ever met. They even sported homemade Team Edward shirts :)
