Halloween theater

I took my parents out for dinner and a movie in the city tonight. Call me a nerd, but I was so excited to see the last Harry Potter film playing at the old Byrd theater. I love those films and have been looking forward to this last one all year. To boot the Byrd theater is the most gorgeous old theater in Richmond. Only $1 a ticket and you get a great film in a fantastic old theater that is worth it just for the ambience.

The interior is cavernous like a giant opera house decked out with a mezzanine. Curtains and a harpsichord. The building dates back over a hundred years I'm sure. Old Richmond - perfect for halloween theater.
