Pea souper

As much as yesterday had the feel of autumn, today had the feel of winter.

Took Dilly for a walk up at Bushy Park and we could see the start of a pea souper! There remained lots of dew on the ground, and the bright light was shining off of it like frosting on a cake. Popz and Steve ran the dog ragged. It was crisp and fresh. The air had that early winter smell about it, the one that makes you think of Christmas.

Back home for a nice cup of tea and a roast dinner. No soup for starters!
