Forth Rail Bridge...
I went down to South Queensferry today... I'd forgotten what a lovely little place it is and clearly there were a lot of other people who thought the same. Very busy but I managed to squeeze my car into the car park at the far end of town and took a wander round the dinky little shops. I'm totally anti-C******** at the moment but I couldn't resist buying a couple of lovely silver bells. I like bells.
The bridge looks fabulous now that all the work has finished but I wasn't particularly happy with any of the shots I took. I chased the sunset home and managed to sneak a couple of roadside shots which I quite like.
In other news, I still have no heating. *sigh* I know it's not that cold yet but I'm just not warm today. I'm wearing about five layers and the flat cardi. When I got home the bananas I haven't frozen caught my eye as they're going brown now. I don't really like bananas. I buy them to freeze for my smoothies in the morning (needless to say I've not been getting up early enough to make them) so I baked a banana loaf to take to work. Now my flat smells amazing and the kitchen is warm from the heat of the oven... I left the door open and am standing over it as I type.
Now I'm going to make dinner and park my arse on the sofa and watch a movie then early to bed. Perhaps I'll get up early enough for a smoothie tomorrow before my trip to the Signet Library to collect the leftovers from Friday. Then it's back to work, Monday all over again.
