German Christmas Market, Birmingham 2011

What a great day. Took the daughter and granddaughters Charlotte the eldest and Poppy to the German Market in Birmingham.

How big has this market grown over the years? I remember going to it the first year they came with their 17 stalls. Now there's got to be well over 150, stretching from outside the town hall, all down New Street up by the Library and beyond to Symphony hall.

Must admit carol and I are going again Wednesday to see the bits we missed (and to have some more mulled win)e. Should be a bit quieter than today. It was absolutely heaving.
