TED Youth Day 2011

Amazing.

I got up at 5:30 again to take a 6:48 train into the city with Cahill, Elaina, Shaymus, Rich, Kenny, and Mike. They all had important things to do on the machine. I just came in because I was supposed to help the camera man with his wires for the handheld but he never talked to me about it so... We got to see a few of the speakers rehearse before the conference and it was awesome. When all of the others arrived, we had lunch and took pictures with some of the speakers (Like Ish and Justin seen above). Then we fooled around in the photo booth and then it was time for the event. It. Was. Amazing. All of the speakers were fantastic. During the intermission, we all raced around trying to get all of the speakers autographs. At the very end of the second session, we fired off the Rube Goldberg machine without a hitch! It was so great to watch it and see it finish. Now we can all relax for a little while....until science olympiad...

We took the train home and got back really late so we had a celebratory dinner at the diner (as is Rube tradition) and then went home.
