Remembrance

I love poppies. I can't see them without thoughts of World War I and Remembrance Day flashing through my head - too many years teaching about it I suspect! I love them, not for that reason alone but because they're beautiful and wild and grow randomly.They cheer any place they happen to be.

Today I was on my way to observe a student and spotted these on a verge on the other side of the road, too much traffic behind me to stop. What impressed me was I REMEMBERED where they were and blipped them on the way back! Anyone who knows how awful I am at directions and anything geographical will appreciate the achievement involved here!
