Early morning moon

This is a thing that has always confused me....how is the moon in this place this morning and then the other side of my sky tomorrow?
Himself explained it to me by means of a very basic drawing of the Earth, Sun and Moon and the rotation there-in/of !?

I took this photo a 7.27am, no photo shop here...out of camera.

The rest of the day held loads of fun with Jamie and Maddy...flapjacks and ricecrispie crunchies and a walk up to the DEN IN THE WOODS.
