Farewell!

Farewell to Cork and Ireland!

Now we are returning home to the UK after having participated in the excellent Robert Boyle Science Festival (see Blipfoto entries for Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

How attractive the land and inlets look from the air on a fine day as we approach the coast!

I like flying, in any case, but flying from Cork is decidedly less stressful than flying from, say, Gatwick. The airside lounges look out directly over the aprons and runway.

There are even very attractive views over the rolling Cork countryside from the windows.

Just for amusement, here is a Glory that I shot from my seat.
