Compare The Macro.Com

A dark, dreary and wet day here in Carradale with the lights on in the house since lunch time. No chance of a decent shot outside far less a sunrise!

Resorted to looking round the house for some inspiration in order to further check out the macro capability of the new camera. These three little fellows sit on an illuminated shelve and provided a suitable subject. The lighting made them appear as if they were in the footlights of a stage!

Anyway, for a camera with a x35 zoom it is incredible that you can get the lens to within a couple of inches of the subject when it is fully open. I am more than happy with the macro but would rather be using it outside.

Right, away to see if I can get a better deal on my car insurance!
