Flaming Fishing Boat
I didn't think we would get a colourful sunrise this morning as there were lots of clouds on the horizon. However, by the time I stepped out the shower there were a few patches of pink amongst the thick clouds.
I got dressed and went outside with the camera more in hope than anticipation. No sooner had I got to the water's edge when the clouds parted enough for the rising sun to catch them and fill them with changing colours. Having blipped umpteen sunrises from the same general area, I was pleased when an old fishing boat arrived last Sunday to have its bottom scraped and be painted. It provided a new foreground interest and just had to feature in my sunrise. However, it was difficult to ignore this shot of an amazing flaming cloud, which unfortunately was fizzling out by the time I got the boat in frame.
Off to do some clearing up at our local heritage centre and tearoom before an open day on Sunday. Lets hope the weather stays fare!
Have a good blip day all!
