All Aboard

We have always liked to change up Thanksgiving, so we decided to do a little shopping the day before Thanksgiving, not the traditional day after. The Grove in downtown Los Angeles was our chosen destination for today's excursion. This high-end outdoor marketplace is magnificent, totally decked out for the holidays and including the tallest Christmas tree in L.A. A centerpiece of the center is an electric trolley that runs a short distance from the adjacent Farmer's Market to the Grove. As is to be expected at a shopping area, everyone is friendly and welcoming, including the conductor of said trolley.
