Turkey Trot

Nothing like a good 5k run to get the morning juices flowing (and burn a few calories before more than replacing them with Thanksgiving dinner). Here my daughter and I (turquoise shirt in the middle of the frame, Kelsey on my left waving) join 6,500 others on the Belmont Shore pathway early this beautiful Thursday morning in a run that benefits local charities. Thanks to my wife for supporting us in this endeavor and taking photos to commemorate our involvement. The only downside was that we didn't win one of the 600 randomly distributed pies at the end of the run - they seemed to be awarded to those who ran in costume (lots of turkey hats and indian getups).
