The Merchant of Telouet
Today took us to Telouet - a small town in the High Atlas mountains. We arrived on a busy market day where the locals arrived by car, mule or motorbike to buy their essentials for the week.
This gentleman was found though a small door off the 'high street' that opened into a kaleidoscpic tardis that was actually a carpet shop. He had a smile as big and colourful as his headwear and was authentic Berber though and through . . .
. . . until his phone played that Nokia ringtone. I've never been plummeted back into the 21st century so quickly!
