Backward
I've done things backward,
All of my days.
First I got my children,
Then I learned their ways.
What I should of done,
Was to learn what to do.
To take them one by one,
Then stick them on like glue.
I should of gained knowledge,
And been a little wise.
So I could give council,
When problems arise.
What I knew then,
And what I know now.
Stirs me up inside,
As what I could allow.
For now in age...I see,
What could of been my aim.
And I could of been a better parent,
With honors to my name.
