At the start of the week, I posted a "If anyone has spare yarn, might I have it? " Today, A MASSIVE bag arrived from the lovely Tricia, full of yarn, so EVERYONE can have a beautiful hat! Thank you so, so much.

Yesterday Jeni and Jumpingbean were in the hospital, waiting on the arrival of the second bean. During the course of the day, and into the evening and through the night, a massive group of people were able to tune in as Jeni updated us on her progress, and the eventual arrival of Charley. Well Done Jeni - You and Ste have produced another beautiful Boy!

And then..... A week or so ago Tuula thru out an offer, all the way in Finland, to paint a personalised Christmas Ball if you had a request. I immediately jumped in..... And look what arrived today!

Completely beautifully packed and the painting is just devine! There are the hills and the snow, a Piper, a Christmas Tree, and Tuula and I sharing a glass of Red in our scarfs.... and Tuula has on her hat!

It's too beautiful for words. My daughter is completely besotted by it, and now wants to run out and buy some balls and start creating herself.

Thank you so very much Tuula! It is so lovely and will have pride of place on our tree.
