Everything Happens Here
Well, apparently not?

I got talked into going shopping in Birmingham today to pick some presents for Xmas. I must of been insane! It was absolutely packed and I'm shattered now. Were out with all the football mom's and dads tonight for a curry and I'm just not feeling it now!
The only good part was taht I had to go off for an hour on my own while Mrs L went and got me the 'surprises' I'd tried on. I decided to have first proper go at street photography and whilst I kind of failed, I'm buzzing.
I watched a video called 'A Day with Jay Maisel' yesterday on my free trial of the Scott Kelby training website and it really inspired me to give it a go. I got my camera out and I really took my time to see pictures as they happened. It was brilliant and I can't wait to do it again. The only thing that didn't happen are the photo's! I bottled it time and time again to start my '100 strangers' project and didn't have the confidence to really go for shot's that I saw, but I could feel my confidence growing my the minute. I was also amazed by two things. Firstly how many people were doing the same thing, I must have seen forty people with DSLRs that I would've never noticed normally and at least six of these were doing street photography, In my head I thought I stood out like a sore thumb but the truth is very few people notice or care about you. Secondly how many opportunities are out there if you take the time to stop and look for them.
Hopefully next time I'll get a much better shot but this will do for my starting point. The main thing is I can't wait to have another go!
