Weather the Weather
Katie and Gordon (receding) at the salt marsh, West Barns. The wind howled today and I got a week's washing dried in a jiffy - with extra pegs.
After lunch we got out and planned for the park at the woods, but diverted via the salt marsh which is where we stayed. This stretch of land is seasonally flooded and today we had deep puddles where we are used to walking. That makes an alien landscape of our back yard, and the children had a ball exploring and hiding in the long grass.
Tonight we have Dotty over and we are all so very content. I'm playing "Bob Dylan at the Budokan" on the turntable (yes, vinyl) and the house feels such a happy place to be.
And, relax.
