A Walk Across The Rooftops
Edinburgh from the roof of a car-park, left to right Corstorphine Hill; The Forth Road Bridge; The Forth Rail Bridge; snowy hills in Fife.
I walked up to town at lunchtime to pick up a widget, and wondered what the view was like from the top. Up, up, up the stairs and on Level 8 of the St James car-park I was rewarded with this view. I think I'll be back at sunset another day! Completely deserted and quite eerie.
Big Bridges.
Since I shamelessly stole the title, here's The Blue Nile's "A Walk Across The Rooftops" from 1983, accompanied by some fairly whacky photography.
The lights are always changing
The black and white horizon
Well, exactly. Enjoy!
