Red Hot Poker

On my way to the local airport, I stopped at the donkey sanctuary where care and sustance are given to unfortunate derelict animals.

There I spotted these two proud Red Hot Pokers which brought warmth and cheer to an otherwise cold wintry day.

The Pokers are also known by the name Kniphofia.
