Bendy Trees

When the wind blows as hard as it has done so today, you realise just how badly insulated this house is. There are draughts coming from everywhere and we are trying to seal them up. The house was built in the late 50s so energy efficiency was unheard of in those days.

When we walked up Mailer hill this afternoon with Breagha, the wind was so bad that it actually took my breath away. You can see from this picture of the trees how wild it was. There was no rain thankfully, that came on around tea time.

Met my mum off the London train. Is it really 2weeks since she went?

Sitting with a blanky round my legs and STILL feel a draught. I envy people in new homes!
