Trip to the Christmas Store
Usually on a Sunday we take Breagha a long walk, especially with the dark nights not getting off the lead so much. But today, she has been kept indoors as one of the pads on her back paw is red raw and she is limping. There is a weakness there ever since it was sliced open during a particulary icy spell when she was a pup. Poor little Breagha, she is looking very sorry for herself with big sad(der) eyes,
Picked up my mum and we headed along the road to Abernyte Antique Centre for a browse then coffee and scone. Then on the way home stopped at Glendoick Garden Centre who have opened a new gift section. There was glitter galore and every variation of Santa, snowmen, fairies and all things Christmassy!
Just have to mention that this day last year we were up to our waists in snow which seemed to last until March if I remember. Today was cold (7 degrees) but sunny. Let's hope the snow stays away a little while longer!
Hope no-one looked at the new moon tonight through glass as according to my mum you just can't! What you have to do is bow three times in front of it outdoors and you will have good luck. Another one of her crazy supersititions!! I could write a book on them:-))
