Memories of white anchovies

Several years ago I was having dinner with my brother Paul when I tasted what I think were fresh white anchovies.

They were really brilliant and I've never forgotten the experience.

The other day I bought some marinated white anchovies and had them tonight with kale grown here at Rodrigo Road, pasta and leftover fish on top.

Not exactly like the fresh ones but still gorgeous.
