Black Friday

While not much of a shopper, I was intrigued by black Friday this year and hauled myself (along with my daughter) out of bed at midnight to see for myself what all the fuss was about. I didn't expect much as I headed to our local mall, but was totally surprised by the massive crowds. Best Buy and Target (shown here) had by far the largest lines of people waiting to enter, but even stores inside the mall, like Victoria Secret and the Disney Store, had lines of people waiting to snap up bargains., or at least what they had been told were bargains. Needless to say, we did not purchase anything this evening, but thought it was fun to be a part of the excitement.
