Plover Island

This is a beautiful place in the Yuraygir National Park with a beautiful curving beach that goes on forever and only ever a few people there except at holiday times when it gets a bit busier.
There is also the Sandon River entrance behind where I was standing taking this shot. Plover island is accessible at low tide but gets cut off at high tide.
The narrow strip of land between the river and the ocean is a National Park Camping Ground with beautiful views, wood fired bbqs and an area for day visitors as well.
