Quarrier's Track

I walked up on to the Moor for the last hour of sunset today and enjoyed having it to myself, setting up the tripod, trying different angles and views. Such a contrast to yesterday's bleak, windy day in Penrith. There are several disused quarries on this part of the moor for the taking of Yorkshire Stone, and this is one of the tracks which bisects the moor heading towards Keighley. Strange to imagine in earlier times, carts been drawn across here - tough work.
