Roly's Life

Gardening

While Ben took Ally to rugby (thrashed by Newquay) I played domestic goddess and made soup, pizza and rocky road for lunch. I also got the slow roasted pork shoulder going so that we could make the most of the sunshine and do some much needed garden clearance.

We bribed the children to help and have cleared the front of leaves, cleaned the drains, bagged up the climbing hydrangea we cut back last week, cleaned out the chickens and planted up a load of bulbs before having another fire to get some more of the dead tree!

Tea has been eaten (the afore mentioned pork with bread and butter pudding) and I have sneaked off. Don't tell Ben, but I am sat soaking in the bath blipping this before the bedtime chaos begins...
