First Time for Everything

Ms. B: "Mommy...you need to come look at this RIGHT now," she said in a very matter of fact voice.
I knew what I was going to see was either something Mr C really should not have been doing, or would be something pretty awesome. Well, it was definitely the latter.

Mr C:
found a piece of cardboard
gathered markers and tape
found our foam letters
wrote his name ALL BY HIMSELF (with no one around to even spell it for him)
and then found the correct foam letters and taped them onto his spelled name.

Wow. Definitely not something I would have expected from him at 3 1/2.

And let's just say he was very excited and proud, as are we.
We were quite amazed, really.
