Pittock Mansion

This is the only public "mansion" in Portland, which was nearly demolished in the 1960's, saved by one of those pesky citizen's campaigns. Now it is a favorite tourist draw and at Christmas time, they schedule musicians to play for the crowds. My quartet (three recorders and a cello) played for a two hour stint, in the music conservatory, of course.
