The King's Staith ('staith' is a Yorkshire word for wharf), with the outside tables of the King's Arms (which is named after its sign, like most inns and taverns from the time their clientele were not literate - we will know civilization is in reverse when products and retailers again brand themselves with images rather than words ... oh ... wait a sec ... ).
I think I may have blipped this view before, if so apologies.
P.S. I was about to type something about 'logos' above, then I realized the irony of its ambiguity between the plural of 'logo' and an ancient greek concept which used to be an integral part of our culture. Plato would have blamed it on mimetic arts (like photography).
