Life without a lift

To paraphrase Socrates, life without a lift is life not worth living.

In fact, we are regularly 'examined' - as to our fitness - carting loads of shopping, luggage or (in my case) a bike up three or four flights of stairs.

What horrid weather it is, but I must not complain. It's better (IMHO) than snow and ice.
