but it's really the water... yes, the water that yesterday was frozen - is today smooth and blue... crystal clear and lovely for the ducks and geese to float upon. which is exactly what this little one was doing... all the while keeping his eye upon me - making sure i didn't get any closer than necessary - so he could maintain his still and steady gliding...

so serene... so peaceful... on a sunny day with blue skies and hardly a breeze blowing through the air... a slight nip as a reminder that it truly is fall... all making for...

p.s. i am sorely behind in commenting and i apologize for it... it would seem that at the times i attempt to make the rounds, i continue to get stalled with the message "uh-oh... it appears we're over capacity" leading to frustration on my part... hopefully, the boffins will fix this problem soon. in the meantime, thanks for being patient and still visiting with me...
