Having a play with this camera collected back from the shop this evening. Trying to see how slow a shutter speed I could get away with (hand-held) for this "optically stabilised" lens. Out of about six shots, four were fine, with the others only slightly blurred. Really impressive.

The barometer reading was on the way up. The forecast isn't.

Received a request for some kayaking photos for an article about the Wet West Paddlefest event (Day-1, and Day-2). "The deadline is Dec 1st..." The request came by e-mail tonight, so no pressure then! Have been somewhat busy locating/tweaking/uploading the requested files, so apologies for a lack of commenting.
