"Thank you Helen, the cake's lovely, and I haven't eaten it all." At least, not at the time of taking this BOD* tonight...
That mixer I was requested to look into a while back, I did eventually get around to fixing. Helen made the fatal mistake of saying, "There's no hurry for it." So I immediately forgot about it... for several weeks... or was it months? Whatever, as I said, I did eventually fix it, and todays Blip contains some of the proof - a carrot cake. A little thank you present. Like the previous one, it could've done with a bit more depth of field (on my part).

With today's public sector pension strikes, work was somewhat quiet, though not without interruptions. Amongst some repairs and other tasks, I spent far too long attempting to print out some colour safety labels. The worst thing being that the colour printer is a good 100 metres away along, a corridor. Back and fore I went, goodness knows how many times. Eventually having success by sending the file to another printer (of the same type) that was even further away. I wasn't in a good mood at lunchtime, purely out of frustration at the thing. It wouldn't fit through the window either!
Near blown off the Kessock Bridge on the way home. With some extremely strong gusts, it was touch-and-go whether I'd manage to cycle across. It's still wild outside, so I'll decide in the morning between car or bike to work.
Apologies again for a lack of commenting. It's nothing personal!
