I took part in Scotland The World Over!

Oh My! What a faff this has been! Of course it would have helped if I had actually read the instructions before setting out to get this shot! Doh! But by the time I eventually did have the instructions, Alan was refusing to pose again! (Apologies for the rubbish background but if I wanted a smiling boy the photo had to be taken there and then! No time for planning anything artistic!)

Alan NEVER poses for photos! NEVER! The only way I got him to agree to smile for the camera today was by telling him the Tess Daly poster I had ordered for him last week (and which he has been patiently waiting for ever since!) would arrive today IF he co-operated! (safe in the knowledge that it had already arrived this morning! ;-)

So he posed. And I snapped a very quick pic. And his reward was revealed. And he got grumpy coz it wasn't the poster he wanted! Typical! Thankfully he got over his disappointment fairly quickly and is now gazing at Tess whilst listening to music!

So far I've not made much progress with the plans I had for today. Just about to try and get some online Christmas shopping done. Also 4 family birthdays in December to buy for. It's a nightmare! Was going to start writing my Christmas cards too but it's tradition to write my cards whilst sipping a pint small glass of Baileys, so that will have to wait till later.

Last day of November.....we were knee deep in snow here this time last year!!! Glad it's not the same this year!
