Scotland The World Over

I took part in Scotland The World Over!

Today is Scotland's national day, so Happy St. Andrews day to all Scottish people! This morning I took a few photos. There were lots of Saltires around and I wanted to try and take a picture of one so that it appeared right in the middle. This was rather difficult because the flags were moving a lot with the wind. I finally managed to capture this one right on time, so I decided that I might just as well post it for Scotland The World Over.

There were lots of demonstrators on the street as well. There were strikes all over the UK to protest about the cuts in the public sector. The Royal Mile was a mayhem of protesters, police, Saltires, banners, shouts and noises. We could hear all the noise from work. It wasn't as busy as I expected it to be, but we had a few more people in than yesterday.

And, by the way, I have an idea for my new theme. I've seen a few blippers using music with their images and I really like the idea. So I'm going to try and do 12 blips with music in them. See how it goes!
