Boom

Well today has been very interesting. We had some blasting next door for the new house they are putting up. Unfortunately the blasting has caused our house to settle a little and now we have significant cracks in our tiles and quite a few cracks in our stucco (although not large or serious).

As well, the power went off just after 3pm and after calling the hydro they had a message saying it was estimated to be up at 6pm. So out for dinner we went. Well it is now 830 and still no power so I hope it will be soon. The kids are tucked into their beds with extra blankets as it is supposed to go down to -10 c tonight. They thought the whole day was awesome.
