Advent

We were given this advent calendar one year from Grandmama. I think it is so cool. Every day the kids get to open one of the presents charms wrapped in the boxes and hang it on the calendar.

No chocolate!

The kids really enjoy unwrapping the charms and hanging them up and don't seem to mind at all that there is no chocolate to be eaten, for now at least.

We finally got our power back on around 9 pm. Thankfully we didn't have to sleep in a freezing house and all the items in the fridge seem to be ok after no power for 6 hours.
