Caught my eye

This time of year seems to not involve so many pictures. Not sure whether this is due to general busyness or darkness or lack of motivation. If it wasn't for blip today would certainly be a photo less day.

But the reflection of the saucer on the teacup and the little flash of blue light caught my eye and I was glad of an excuse to capture it.

So far today has been highly productive in quite a creative and practical way with an elf costume made, curtains hemmed, chairs covered and signs made and laminated for the school fair. And less creative but an interesting and productive meeting with my accountant about a new business venture for 2011.

Now into the usual Thursday afternoon routine of hanging out in turn with each of the kids whilst the other one goes to chess and Musical Theatre respectively. It's harder to be heading home late in the dark but the enforced downtime is nice, as is the idle chat with the kids, without it I wouldn't know half of what goes on at school.
