St. Nicolas

Today O had a visit from St Nicolas. He came to her classroom and gave all the children a satsuma and two speculoos St. Nicolas shaped biscuits. She was a bit bemused by it all as he looks very much like Santa apart from the hat!

The above photo was how I found her after school. She'd been rolling around in the sand pit (what is it with this child and sand?) and was covered in dirt, sand and glitter. The sign of a good fun day I guess.

She also absolutely insists on wearing her hairbands right at the front of her head!

The white coat that she absolutely insisted on last year gets washed every weekend!
