lovely cup of tea

No birthdays today, just the first usage of my fabulous birthday mug. Nell's handprint and footprint, one on each side. She actually had to be asleep to create it, but nevermind, the spirit of the gift is still there? Sort of. Anyway we made it last weekend and collected it after firing this morning. So after lunch with Nell sleeping and Mattie busy drawing.It was the most peaceful and delicious cup of tea, drunk on the doorstep, looking out into the rainy valley. On my own. With my new mug.
