fully booked

book sale at work today - three or four times a year, the newspapers i work for sell off the review copies they get sent, proceeds (and leftover tomes, too, i think) going to charity. so £6.50 has just bought me two hardbacks and seven paperbacks... you'll not be surprised to hear that the sale nearest christmas is hugely popular! it means i can buy loads of books for my literature-voracious parents, and expensive-looking gifts without breaking the bank ;-) it'll run another day or two, but i won't see it as chris arrived this afternoon and we'll be going out to play tomorrow and weds.
