Li'l Elf Saves the Day!

Why is it that every year, despite our best efforts to send greetings for the holiday season to all our relatives and dear friends, there is always one card pops through the letterbox from someone you have missed off your list?
Thank goodness for Santa's 'retired' Li'l elfers!!!We have one such elfer lives directly across the road from us , 'elf employed . part time ,elfing with the Xmas mail .He is so smart in his bright red coat. The rest of the time he runs an 'elf help group.
The average working elf makes enough cash to support him/herself up in the North Pole, but it's not enough money to retire on. Most elves are in their line of work for the love of Christmas and the kids that their toys bring joy to, not the moola. The lack of funds does get made up to them by the Clause though, with a never-ending supply of cookies, milk, hot chocolate and other tasty holiday treats (that's kinda why most elves are a little round in the middle)
Hope he doesn't expect the same treatment in his new position. It's 'elf service from now on!!
