Breaking ice.

First snow, and winter has really and truly arrived! Brrrrrrrrr!

Went to Tom's to buy some chrysanthemums .Lovely big bunch of yellow and white for the kitchen window. £1.50. and a cabbage 40p. ! He worries his prices are too high!!
Tom is in his 80's and has a small market garden near us.((Will have to do a blip about him sometime.)

The pond was frozen for the first time this winter and the ducks came flying to greet me as soon as I got out of the car.
They were disappointed as I hadn't brought any bread! Will have to remember next time, although they are very well fed by the guy who looks after them.

Think there is more snow on the way ,although it has nearly all gone now.
