Went to watch and of course photograph the spirit of Ashoora with few of my friends this afternoon! Ashoora is the 10th day of Muharram (arabic month), when Shia people mourns the death of the grand son of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Muharram is the month of mourning to them and also for all muslims around the world!

It was a very emotional experience! I have uploaded a photo from the procession where people from all ages chanting and beating their chest in rhythm. I hope I have captured the spirit of it!
