Jacaranda 94.2's Carols by Candlelight
Tonight we went to the Jacaranda Carols by Candlelight at Supersport Park in Centurion. We got there nice and early but still managed to find ourselves near the back of the field (towards the grandstands). I snuck (who knows these days) my tripod in. LOL I hid it with the camping chair - thankfully it managed to fit in the chair's bag. Not that anyone really noticed it - okay - maybe they did. I might have looked way to serious. So this was taken from WAY BACK, with the Tamron Lens, which by the way took fantastic video. It's a pity the 'operator', that would be me forgot to switch the lens to manual which might have stopped the in-out sort of thang happening, but for my first time I was VERY impressed. Now I just have to figure out how to make it smaller so that I can post it on FB. I'm on a iMac so if anyone has any thoughts - I'd appreciate it.
Not the greatest of days today - my car is giving me grief - AGAIN!! Why does it always happen the day before a really HECTIC day. **Sigh** Tomorrow we have to get the car to the mechanic. I am saying a little prayer that it is an easy fix or something that can be fixed easily enough. We think it has something to do with Spark Plug no. 2, the wire, and the distributor. Now Spark Plug was fine, we replaced all the wires - there is no spark in wire no. 2 - it has to be the distributor or something there. I really hope so. Josh has to be at Holiday Club by 8am and Brad has to be at Prize Giving in the middle of Sandton by 9am. I love challenges can you tell.
I had lots of fun tonight. It's pity the generator packed in near the end. The boys were getting tired so we opted to leave. At least we managed to get out of the parking without too much hassle.
I'm really happy with how this came out - considering where we were sitting on the field.
