Thistle Down

By Ethel

Christmas

From the story of Jesus,
We are all sure to know.
He was born in a manger,
A long time ago.

Angels from heaven,
Sang soft, sweet strains,
And shepherds were frightened,
Far out on the plains.

Wise-men on camels,
Brought gifts from afar.
And followed the rays,
Of a heavenly star.

To find little Jesus,
They hurriedly trod.
Seeking a King for the Jews,
And the Son of God.

So let's...you and I,
Be glad that we.
Can go live with Jesus,
Eternally.
