Thistle Down

Christmas

At this Christmas time of the year,
With the dazzle of tinsel and light.
Let our thoughts go wandering back,
To that long ago holy night.

Let the children all come together,
Amid holiday laughter and glee.
As they romp in circle and dance,
Round the glittering...Christmas tree.

Let us feel in our joyful hearts,
All that is of eternal worth.
And remember our Savior, Lord,
Who lived here...upon the earth.

Let not our eyes be blinded,
By the costly gifts we get.
But let Christmas...have a meaning,
That none of us can for-get.
