spotted roseate Tachyeres plasticus

These flightless ducks have shown up one other time in my yard and I was fortunate enough to catch them that time as well. I am glad I had my camera ready; no one believes they really exist and again I have photographic proof!

Another dreary day in the Rose City, so one must make the most of it!
